A HIGH SPEED CHASE led to foot chase and the arrest of a male near Eight Mile Road in Camino. The man was wanted on a warrant out of Douglas County, Nev., according to officers on the scene. After being stopped by a sheriff deputy in the Pollock Pines, the driver fled by driving west on the eastbound lane of Highway 50 in Camino. A resident alerted the El Dorado County Sheriff's Department that the driver turned on to Eight Mile Road, where the arrest was made. Democrat photo by Shelly Thorene
